This year (the 2003/04 season (September-September),
we performed 400 dances in public (cf 408 last year, 487 two years ago, and 597
three years ago), 14 of which we danced more than 10 times each. There was a
total of a total of 45 different set dances in our repertoire.
This chart does not list 29 other Cotswold
Morris set dances which we performed fewer than six times in public in
the same dance season; nor does it take account of our performances of rapper sword dances,
or of morris jigs performed by individual side members.
The "Tradition" column is merely a
convenient handle, to identify the style in which we perform the dance; many of
the above dances are "all our own work". For "Ascott", read
"Bristol Morris Men’s Ascott style", and so on.
